Black velvet mini dress – pure elegance. A timeless classic that never fails.
Of course, elevate this jewelry, heels, hair to avoid being, you know, boooooring.
Two black velvet minis, two different vibes.
Long sleeves, square neck, and a fitted bodice (this one) – instead of a fuller, bubbled skirt (the one above).
This one feels a little more laid-back to me.
But then again, I could also prefer red.
And then I start thinking about how to style a vibrant, fiery red elegantly.
Now my bestie just called…
Fine – she can take the pink satin bow.
But black off-shoulder minis? Still an absolute classic.
(Never skip the accessories!!!)
(I’d choose a classic watch)
(Yes, I’m boring)
What, black again? You’re kidding me.
No, but its blink blink, you see?
I mean, it has a pearl-embellished cut-out detail.
Anyway, I’m pretty sure dresses with cut-outs like this (are they cheongsam-inspired?) are really trending right now.
I think they’re stunning.
That said, I’d personally go for the midi version (random preference, but we’ll get into that later).
Tweed remains a mystery to me.
I think people who can pull off tweed have really interesting bone structure.
Like this girl, she’s absolutely stunning. So feminine, yet so incredibly poised.
(I’m a Soft Classic, I guess she’s more Dramatic Classic.)
